On Campus - Attendance, Participation and Health Advice
The campus at 100 George Street Parramatta is currently closed. We understand this may be inconvenient for our students. Rest assured, it is not a decision that has been taken lightly. Any student who requires access to university facilities to study and use Internet Wi-Fi can still do so at our Parramatta South campus library and designated ‘Study Halls’ at that campus. Strict physical distancing measures will remain in place. Students will, of course, continue to be able to access library resources, services and learning support remotely. The shuttle bus service from Parramatta City Campus to Parramatta South Campus is still operating.
Western Sydney University International College has moved all of its face to face classes on-line. You should check your emails and your unit learning site (Moodle or vUWS) for the most up-to-date instructions regarding online learning for the units you are enrolled in.
If you’re unit has practicals and requires lab access, you will be advised by one of our Course Conveners or your teacher on how this will be managed. Our staff are still here to support you if needed online via email, Zoom and other channels.
The International College teachers are well prepared to offer your program online. Our campus at 100 George Street Parramatta is temporarily closed. All classes have now been shifted online so you will not be able to attend those classes in person. If your unit has a practical component which is required to be conducted at an on-site lab, please follow the advice from your unit teacher.
Please follow the direction of your teacher and course convener to ensure you are aware how to attend your classes online.
At present, you can still come to the university’s Parramatta South Campus to use campus facilities such as study spaces and WiFi unless:
